IFX soccer programs has been operating in Germany more than 14 years enabling youth and adult competitive soccer players to experience the high level that just German leagues can offer. A big part of the success of our soccer camps in Germany and our player´s satisfaction showed when they return home is the highly competitive environment they are surrounded and the hard and technically sophisticated training they are undergone during their stay. All these facilities are provided by German Amateur and Pro football clubs we partnered with over the years operating in the Bayern region. One of the top Bavarian clubs that we have a long time relationship and always is open to receive our players to trial and many times they have signed some to play half or a entire season in their squad is the FSV Erlangen-Bruck.

FSV Erlangen-Bruck is a German association football club founded in 1916 and located in the suburb of Bruck in the city of Erlangen, Bavaria. The club spent eight seasons in the Bezirksoberliga before winning the league in 2004 and gaining promotion to the Landesliga Bayern-Mitte for the first time. Bayernliga promotion was finally achieved when the club won the Landesliga in 2008. After a 29-year absence, Bayernliga football returned therefore to the city of Erlangen.

The club's honours:

  • League

Landesliga Bayern-Mitte (V) Champions: 2008 Bezirksoberliga Mittelfranken (VI) Champions: 2004, 2009. Runners-up: 2002 Bezirksliga Mittelfranken-Nord Runners-up: 1971, 1996, 2008 A-Klasse Mittelfranken Champions: 1970, 1992 B-Klasse Mittelfranken Champions: 1987

  • Cup

But Erlangen is not just well known about its top football clubs. The Bergkirchweih is an annual beer festival, similar to the Oktoberfest in Munich but smaller in scale. It takes place during the twelve days before and after Pentecost (that is, 49 days after Easter); this period is called the "fifth season" by the locals. The beer is served at wooden tables in one-litre stoneware jugs under the trees of the "Berg", a small, craggy, and wooded hill with old caves (beer cellars) owned by local breweries. The cellars extend for 21 km (14 miles) throughout the hill (the "Berg") and maintain a constant cool underground temperature. Until Carl von Linde invented the electric refrigerator in 1871, this was considered to be the largest refrigerator in Southern Germany. The beer festival draws more than one million visitors annually. It features carnival rides of high tech quality, food stalls of most Franconian dishes, including bratwurst, suckling pig, roasted almonds, and giant pretzels.
