IFX Kicks off another season with Pro Year Germany & 30 Day Program
Nürnberg, Germany – IFX kicks off another season with the start of our Pro IFX Year Germany and Pro IFX 30 Day programs, which began late June. Approximately 25 soccer players over 18 years old coming from around the world began their journey to experience total immersion in Germany, playing soccer in the cradle of the best soccer clubs in the world.
Participants train mornings under the watchful eye of the experienced licensed German coaches of the IFX Soccer Academy. Training focuses on German football fundamentals such as warm-ups, stretching, ball control, shooting, passing/receiving, defensive positioning and crossing (both defensively and when attacking).
IFX´s soccer training programs offer unique cultural interaction with foreign players. It gives players an opportunity to train within a foreign club to gain valuable international experience and to showcase their talent to our partner clubs. Several times per week in the afternoons, IFX players are placed to train and trial with some of the most competitive soccer clubs in the region of Nürnberg, Bavaria, placing them according their level into the club. The German club trainers evaluate the IFX guest players to determine whether they would be interested in making an offer to the player to sign with their club for the 2017-18 season. IFX has placed and transferred hundreds of players with clubs over the years to Germany and in particular the Nürnberg region.
The Pro IFX programs have an enhanced degree of immersion in the foreign game than what a soccer academy typically offers, since IFX players are placed to train within these high level German clubs in addition to their morning IFX training sessions. Through this total immersion into the German game, excellent facilities, continued support and the years of experience of IFX, make the IFX programs an excellent option for players from around the world to learn, develop and train the German way, and with the possibility of getting signed to a German club.
The summer in Germany is the best time to play soccer, with temperatures between 19° to 28°. Players can enjoy training in beautiful and picturesque country settings and also get to learn about and explore the rich German culture and nearby cities such as Nürnberg, Fürth and Erlangen. Münich is also just a short train ride away!
