Residential Football Academy in Spain with AD Alcorcón

ADA Academy is an International Soccer Academy in Madrid operated by and fully integrated into the structure of the professional football club AD Alcorcón. This Residential Soccer Academy in Madrid is for young talented players aged 16 - 23 years old pursuing a career in soccer while studying abroad.

The International Soccer Academy Alcorcón program is designed to help international soccer players to reach their highest potential, taking part in training sessions and competing for Spanish football club AD Alcorcon U19 and Senior C teams. High School aged players attending this academic and football/soccer program will follow the American school curriculum led by a private high school. Players have opportunities to study either towards University degrees or take Spanish classes only.

Football Program

ADA International Soccer Academy in Spain has developed a football program focused on providing technical and tactical elite training led by licensed UEFA coaches. Eligible players of the high performance football academy in Spain will compete with U19 and Senior C teams ensuring high level competition in official match fixtures and league competition. Players ineligible for competition due to FIFA Article 19 are likewise placed amongst the various AD Alcorcón youth teams for weekly training and will be given opportunity to compete in friendly matches and tournaments alongside their respective AD Alcorcón youth teams. Student-athletes are constantly being evaluated.  Players could be pulled up to higher level teams within the club at the club's discretion.

AD Alcorcón Academy has partnered with some of the most prestigious educational institutions in Madrid to offer its players a tailored curriculum that not only fills their academic needs but also provided flexibility to their sporting requirements creating a balanced enviroment on and off the field.

The educational options are quite broad and include middle school and high school tracks following the methodology of the International Baccalaureate, a program that opens doors to the best Universities all over the world.

For High Performance Athletes 16+ focused on their sport development and interested in applying for College Scholarships in North America, U.K. or Europe, they can opt to follow the Sixth Form model, a fully tailored educational program that will lead to obtaining the necessary A Level accreditation, which is the equivalent of high school graduation. In addition to the flexibility offered by the Sixth Form model, each student is assigned a "Progress Manager" who will monitor you not only academically but also provides coordination with sports coaches/trainers.

 

Girls Soccer Program in Spain with ADA FutFem

The A.D. Alcorcon International Football Academy is also for female players ages 16 – 23 looking to develop their game in Spain through training and competition with the highly competitive ladies teams of A.D. Alcorcon. The club has two teams for females, their first women’s team who currently competes in a top Amateur class and their U19s who compete in a highly competitive U19 league federated by the Federation in Madrid. Female international players are integrated onto Alcorcon female teams according to age and ability for training and development.

Agrupación Deportiva Alcorcón

The Agrupación Deportiva Alcorcón or "Alfareros" - how they are called - is a Professional Football club located in the city of Alcorcón which belongs to the Community of Madrid, Spain. The club was founded in 1970 and since the 2010-11 season plays in the Second Division of Professional Soccer in Spain (La Liga 2)

In the 2009-10 season, AD Alcorcón became very popular for eliminating Real Madrid from La Copa del Rey. After defeating CF Palencia and Lagun Onak, they faced Real Madrid CF in the round of 32. Against all odds, on October 27, 2009, Alcorcón defeated Real Madrid by a massive 4-0 result in the Santo Domingo Stadium with goals from Borja Pérez (2), Ernesto and an own goal from Arbeloa. The result opened all the sports newspapers, it was baptized as "Alcorconazo" and the media interest for the club increased notably.
