IFX Team Tour Germany – GPS North Shore

IFX Team Tour Germany – GPS North Shore
This Summer IFX hosted the American U19 soccer team GPS North Shore from Boston in Germany. GPS North Shore, an official partner club of FC Bayern München, wanted to use their trip to Germany as a reward for their players as well as giving them the opportunity to develop their skills in a completely new environment. The focus was on coaching methods, team training, friendly matches but also the german culture and additional activities.
Regarding the coaching and team training, GPS coach Emanuel Brito, a former professional soccer player, had the chance to work closely with IFX’s partner clubs and their DFB-Stützpunkttrainer (official licensed coach within the german soccer federation and youth development system) who showed the coach some of the basics about the soccer system in Germany and playing soccer ‘the German way’.
