IFX Valencia Football Academy Development Model
Total Immersion with Spanish Soccer Club Team
We believe playing alongside talented Spanish players is essential for the soccer development of any aspiring player coming to Spain. All IFX programs, including our Valencia Soccer Academy embrace this 'total immersion' concept, whereby each player is placed onto a competitive international soccer club. In the case of the Valencia Academy program, each player is placed to train and compete with one of CF Cracks youth teams according to their age and ability.
Evening training sessions follow the training regimens of the C.F. Cracks youth teams, whereby each IFX Valencia Academy player trains with their respective C.F. Cracks youth Spanish team, made up predominantly of talented local players from the Valencia area. The CF Cracks Valencia football club players and teams compete at regionally competitive levels in the Autonomous State of Valencia, normally in the statewide football league federated by the Valencia Football Federation.
Participation in official matches with a CF Cracks team for non-EU players under 18 is permitted under FIFA transfer guidelines but subject to their approval.
Soccer Residency Programs Training Overview
IFX Valencia Academy enables young and ambitious footballers to focus on their development as players in a football focused environment.
Each weekday morning, training is held for players who live at the CF Cracks soccer player residence and under the direction of CF Cracks Academy coaches. Academy players have the opportunity to participate in these soccer training sessions according to their individual school obligations.
Morning training sessions cover all aspects of the beautiful game including technical, tactical, agility, speed, strength and conditioning. These sessions are opportunities for players to fine tune their game, focusing on aspects that may not get as much emphasis in their Spanish team training sessions in the evenings, which typically may have more team and tactical orchestration.
Goalkeeper Training Program
Goalkeepers will receive specific soccer goalkeeper training drills each week in addition to their participation within the normal training activities of the academy and Spanish teams. The quantity and interval of goalkeeper trainings varies week by week and in some cases will be during either the academy or team training sessions.
Extra goalkeeper specific training can be arranged for an additional fee. Goalkeeper training exercises encompass all aspects of advanced goalkeeper training, and of course with the influence of the Spanish game!
